Science plays a large part in the curriculum at Hummingbird. Our vegetable gardens are a great place for children to learn about how plants grow. This creates a connection between classroom learning and practical life applications. Kids learn about the science behind a plant's growth in the classroom and are then able to go outside and actually plant and care for our gardens.
