Many students are excited to learn about numbers and counting, and we incorporate math into the daily activities that are made available to children during our 'quiet work' time. Children are further exposed to numbers and counting during circle time when we explore our daily calendar. For students who show an interest, we also have more advanced activities that will help to teach a basic understanding of addition and subtraction.
